The Oregon Downtown Development Association (ODDA) is a statewide non-profit that provides a wide array of services to Oregon downtowns. ODDA provides tools, training and technical assistance to enable communities to successfully move forward with downtown revitalization.
Whether it is on-site technical assistance, questions answered over the phone, training, workshops, advocacy, or a publication loaned from our resource library, ODDA provides a wide range of downtown revitalization services and assistance across the state...from Brookings to La Grande; Cascade Locks to Lakeview.

Publications are an important tool to assist communities in moving forward with downtown revitalization. ODDA publishes several helpful guides that include: The EID/BID Handbook, Downtown Market Analysis and Business Made Easy, Main Street...When a Highway Runs Through It: A Handbook for Oregon Communities, and Best Practices.
Training:
Workshops and Training
ODDA sponsors regional and statewide workshops and training opportunities for downtown volunteers and staff. ODDA also sponsors a statewide conference featuring nationally known speakers on downtown revitalization and livability.
Technical Assistance:
On-site Technical Assistance that includes, but is not limited to:
- On-site Resource Team (integrated downtown solutions)
- Downtown revitalization training
- Funding strategies for downtown revitalization
- Volunteer and board development
- Workplan development and phasing
- Design assistance (public space and/or storefront)
- Downtown business mix and clustering
- Image/marketing development for downtown
Off-site Technical Assistance
ODDA assists communities by answering questions and responding with written information as a result of telephone or e-mail requests. ODDA maintains an extensive lending library specializing in downtown revitalization and organizational development topics.
Additional Program Services
The Community Cluster Program provides technical assistance to several geographically linked communities in a regional, yet community-specific, approach.
